Meike Garden was born in Hanau and raised in a musical family in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Music has been running in her family since ever and she playfully learned to master various instruments when singing with full of fun as a child.
At the age of 10, Meike gave her first public performance - with her mother, a full-blooded musician. Their music brought them to Ralph Siegel who wrote a song for the singing duo "Maxi und Chris Garden": "Lied für einen Freund" (Song for a Friend), which was a great hit in Germany and allowed them to represent their country at the 1988´ Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin. Numerous national and international television appearances followed, as well as several albums and a platinum record.

After her abitur she began to study musical / theatre at  the University of Arts in Berlin,
where she graduated 4 years later. On the side she studied and graduated in pedagogy of art and music.
Meike Garden ranked 1st at an international song competition in New York and was celebrated in different productions as a musical actress in Germany and Austria.

Joining the German Band “Die Damenkapelle” she proved her comedian acting talent with the Twenties show “Achtung: Weiblich!” in live performances as well as on television. In 2005 she had a top-ten chart hit with the german-speaking pop trio "Aschenputtel".
